Hey everyone,
This post is to inform all of our current members of the clubs intentions. The WWC has taken a vote and has decided to merge the Wakeboard and Waterski club with the Alpine club. We will soon be known as the WWAC. (Wakeboard, Waterski and Alpine Club).
What this means for you. The Wakeboard club each year is very busy with boat trips and social functions throughout the Summer and tends to do nothing during the off season. This will now ensure that the calender year remains full with plenty to do thoughout the year. Transitioning from wakeboard trips during the Summer and snow trips during the Winter, with social events in between.
Membeship prices have also changed. Members will now get value for money, allowing the benefit off utilising two clubs in the one fee.
The price is now $30 per person.
Any questions feel free to email me and ill get back to you.
Cheers Matt.
President.

See you down there kiddies!!!
Well the Victorian uniskiwake event of the year is here - the annual Christmas Party. It’s the time to come out and share a few drinks with your uniskiwake buddies before launching into gift giving mode (and then launching out of Melbourne for some Waterskiing and Wakeboarding action after that!) It’s a pretty informal occasion, it costs you nothing to drop past - but make sure you do!
The Essential Details:
When? - Friday 22nd December 2006
Where? - Doutta Galla Hotel - 339 Racecourse Road, Flemington
Commences? - 8pm onwards
If you want to keep up with the latest discussion - please visit: http://www.uniskiwake.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1747
The new date for the rmitwwc AGM has been set. Here are all the juicy details…
Time: 6.30pm
Place: The Oxford Scholar
Date: Wednesday the 20th of December
All club members are expected to attend and vote in the new committee. We’ll most likely be getting merry and having a bit of a social drink or ten as well so if you havn’t been to any events this year and want to meet and greet the other members then you’re welcome to hang around afterwards.
When? Friday 1st of December (Date now likely to change)
Where? TBA (Somewhere near rmit city campus)
Time? TBA (6pm ish)
Why? Because without a committee for the new year the club will no longer exist.
So there you have it. Mark that date down in your diaries, it’s your club, it’s your job to come along. President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Promo, Equipment officer, Photographer, everything is up for grabs.
I need you to register attendence by sending an email through to gareth@rmitwwc.com.au and if you would like to nominate yourself your someone else for a position then include that in your email. It is very important that you email me if you are going to attend, I will not run the night if nobody is coming along. If nobody is coming along then there is not going to be a club next year.
The boat is fixed and ready to roll, so if you want to run a trip then get in touch with me to organise when and where the trip will run.
